Heart Defibrillator

heart defibrillator
Has anyone had a defibrillator implanted?

I have 20 years of age. I have the Wolff Parkinson White syndrome and dilated cardiomyopathy. My cardiologist has suggested an implanted defibrillator. I'm tired a bit about it. I'm not having problems with my heart right now, but I know that's not always the case. Does anyone have a moment, or have any information on them? Pros? Cons?

When cardiologists recommend this, there is usually a reason. It is possible that not know all the details of your individual case. I would ask for more detailed information on why he / she believes that one is the best option. If you still not satisfied, a second opinion should not hurt.
